HSL's House Music

Last half term pupils competed in HSL’s first House Music event. Over the course of 4 weeks the House Music Captains organised the rehearsal of 3 pieces for each tutor group. The first piece was a solo performance, the second was an ensemble of two or more musicians and the third had to fit within a theme of “Prorsum semper”. The pieces were then judged by two independent adjudicators on the last Friday of half term. There was an overwhelming display of talent, but also as is so often the case at our school a real sense of team spirit with so many of the pupils taking part. The overall winners this year were Chelt! A big well-done to all involved.
