Time Capsule - preparing and packing
Last week we gathered together all of the contributions for the time capsule in preparation for packing it ready to sink in the ground at Farm Lane. The items were grouped together and then sealed in large clear plastic bags, to protect them from moisture and keep them in excellent condition for as long as possible.
As we were not able to involve all of the students in that process we shared a presentation with them on Monday of this week, so they could see what we eventually included. It also shows pictures of the packing of the capsule, which was done by Mrs Cox, Mrs McAlpine and Mrs Wood.
We sealed and sank the capsule at Farm Lane on Tuesday 10th May. Photos of that very special event will follow.
