Young Designers Programme Launch Event

This year, students are working alongside industry professionals from Superdry, who have set the exciting design brief "Flourishing Futures". Superdry has provided garments for students to transform into their own unique designs, inspired by the project theme.

Designers from Superdry will support students from 10 local schools throughout the programme, helping them develop and refine their ideas in preparation for a fashion show that will take place in June 2027.

The launch event was a fantastic opportunity for students to meet the designers, explore the brief, and begin their creative journey. We look forward to taking part in the remaining five sessions across the year and seeing the innovative designs our students produce.

We are excited to follow our students' progress and celebrate their achievements at next year's fashion show. The students attending from HSL are Lucy Sholly, Daisy Mason, Harry Holliday, Joel Hopcroft, Ada Simpkin and Evelina Baillie all from Year 10.
