HSL's Active Travel Ambassadors achieve the Modeshift STARS reaccreditation and host the MP for Cheltenham!
The High School Leckhampton is delighted to have been reaccredited as a Modeshift STARS school and our travel plan has been judged at an 'Excellent' level - this is the highest level we have ever achieved! Thank you to our Active Travel Ambassadors for their hard work last academic year.
Following our reaccreditation, our Active Travel Ambassadors gathered to host Max Wilkinson MP who visited HSL on Thursday 17th September to find out more about what we have done as a school to promote active travel as well as all our other sustainable initiatives.
Modeshift STARS is a national accreditation scheme that recognises and rewards schools across the UK for their work to promote sustainable travel. Managed by Modeshift, this government-recognised initiative supports schools to create a travel plan which encourages students, staff, and parents to adopt greener, healthier, and safer ways to travel.
