On Wednesday 7 October, HSL was delighted to welcome 29 students from Kyoto, Japan, for a special day of cultural exchange.
A group of 45 HSL students acted as hosts, showing their visitors around the school and helping them experience life at HSL. The Kyoto students gave a series of engaging presentations on different aspects of life in Japan, providing fascinating insights into their culture, education and daily experiences.
The day also included the opportunity for HSL students to learn and take part in a range of traditional Japanese games, creating a fun and interactive atmosphere for everyone involved.
It was a brilliant day, with new friendships formed and strong connections made between the two groups. The visit was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn from one another and celebrate the value of international links and cultural understanding.
