First Bat Walk of the Academic Year
The first HSL bat walk of this academic year took place on Monday 5th October from 6:30pm until 8pm.
Steve Mason, Community Parks Officer at Cheltenham Borough Council, kindly ran the event alongside Miss Kennedy and brought along some bat detectors.
The bat walk was very successful, with multiple sightings as the group of students, staff, families and friends of HSL walked the route through Lott's Meadow and Burrow's Field. The attached poster shows more information about the bats identified.
Miss Kennedy would like to thank all those who attended and supported the event - it was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The next bat walk at HSL will take place on Tuesday 20th April 2027 at 8pm.
