Fly Orchid spotted on Leckhampton Hill
The Eco-Committee have been active in helping The Friends of Leckhampton Hill (FOLK) with conservation work on Leckhampton Hill. HSL was allocated a patch of the hill to work on; the students have cleared the area of gorse and hawthorn and helped to remove invasive non-native species.
For the first time, a Fly Orchid has been spotted on our patch. This is a rare and vulnerable Orchid, so very exciting!
